The well-known Swiss daily Mittelland Zeitung has asked getunik’s experts to evaluate the websites of Switzerland's top soccer teams.

What about the information value of the FC Basel website? Does Young Boys Berne have some specials online offers for its supporters? How trendy is the web design of the FC Aarau website? Has FC Zurich discovered Web 2.0 yet? And can the usability of the Grasshoppers’ website really convince the experts?

The Mittelland Zeitung, Switzerland’s third-largest subscription daily, asked Marco Zaugg, Alex Meier and Marcel Gamma for an appraisal of a website’s most important features. The three getunik experts have made detailed comments on the websites of Switzerland's Super League soccer teams and established a ranking. Do they sink or do they swim?

The trio’s conclusions — as far as the Web is concerned: Switzerland's top teams are only mediocre! Many of the teams’ websites suffer from poor content, confusing navigation or fail to feature any offers for their supporters — unfortunately, nothing to write home about when compared with other European soccer leagues’ websites.
