Oswald Nahrungsmittel GmbH has been steadily expanding its use of the Internet as a sales channel

Every year, a new online game based on the same flash module, but with a new look and feel, is being released. This has helped the company to efficiently strengthen its sales channels.

Client: Oswald Nahrungsmittel GmbH
Oswald Nahrungsmittel GmbH produces first-rate quality bouillons, sauces and desserts, distributing these mostly directly via its representatives and over the Internet. Oswald, a subsidiary of Nestlé, has more than a hundred thousand satisfied customers – largely individual households – right across Switzerland.

Task: To increase the number of visitors to the website
In order to establish the Internet as a primary sales channel, Oswald wants to launch online games with instant prizes. Oswald’s people should be able to administer the games without programming knowledge, and must be able to be informed at anytime about its success.

Flash games strengthen Oswald's sales channels.

Solution: Seasonal games with instant prizes
Each year, getunik proposes a calendar of events during the season before Christmas as well as a summer dream game, the latter offering the feel of summer, interaction and instant prizes for thousands of potential and existing customers.

With the same module, Oswald Nahrungsmittel GmbH had already conducted these games for instant prizes in 2003, 2004 as well as an Advent calendar. All were different and always looked fresh in a fun format:
  • Game idea 2003: play with ice cubes
  • Game idea 2004: scratch and win
  • Game idea 2005: scratch and win
  • Game idea 2006: throw Frisbees and win
  • Game idea 2007: scratch and win
These flash games provide for easy administration of the contests and show the day-to-day evaluation of their success.
